Xangas are really quite....pointless when you like have no friends who care to keep in touch with you....it is my firm belief that most people like me alot at first and think I am the greatest then they grow tired of me and slowly fade from my contact. story of my life, yay....
xangas are stupid, I quit. all they do is remind me of how friendless I am
Well, I've almost been on xanga a whole year, so, yay for me. Not much has been happening. I'm sick, yet again, with a sore throat, lethargic body and my nose cannot decide if it wants to be stuffy or runny. Bleck.
Work has been good, I've been given new responsibilities to take care of, more yay. Oh, and I am getting a large bonus in March! Here I come Intuos digital tablets!!
I've been drawing a lot more, and my Photoshop classes are going well. As soon as I get my tablet I will be so very happy and drawing non-stop. (they are digital drawing pads that allow you to draw/edit pictures straight into Photoshop. no pencils or scanners required.)
I'm Alive!!! Yes yes, I had been slacking off posting lately. I really don't have much to say, therefore why post when you have nothing truely worthwhile to say?
I suppose I'll start with updates. My Christmas was great, I got lotsa cool stuff and had a great time with my family. I even got brave and played my cello for my brother, his family, and my cousins. So yay.
New Years Eve was all but typical, for me at least. I think I've only gone out for New Years Eve once in my whole life, which was last year when I had a boyfriend (mumble grumble good-fer-nuthin-little bugger...) Oh, sorry. So yeah, nothing but sitting on the couch eating an assortment of junk foods, mostly comprised of GoldFish and Dr.Pepper, watching horrible performances at Times Square. This decade's style of music is, in a rather eloquent word, AWEFUL! I mean, you don't even have to have talent to get up on stage and try to sing. They cover up all the flaws with thumpin base and rappers. Yuck.
Saw Narnia and Kong. Narnia sucked, but I am biased since I adore the novel(they totally re-wrote the middle and the characters' personality and lines where all wrong) But the animals and scenery were fantastic. But I like the mental images in my mind better from what I got from the book. Kong was fantastic, and definately in my top ten favorites movies, next to Goodbye Girl, Shawshank Redemption, and Forrest Gump, hehe. It took all I had to keep from sobbing during Kong. Gorrilas are such magnificent and astonishing creatures, and they did a perfect job of making him believible and man you got attatched to him! Much better than LotR, for me anyway.
Ever get one of those unexplainable pains somewhere on/in your skin that feels like a pinch or a needle? Well, I've got one of those little boogers right now by my knee, and it won't quite! :sigh: So, it is now one week until Christmas and work is getting really busy, and all the crazy people are coming out of hiding and deciding to make a special trip to the bank and visit with me for awhile. Yuck. During a transaction, and older (much older) guy suddenly told me that I was beautiful, so I said thanks and nonchalantly turned off the speaker (he he he). Weirdo.
Crazy people intrigued me, except for the really really annoying ones. I suppose the abnormality of their thought processes and personalities fascinate me and spark my curiosity. I especially like the ones who know they are crazy, because then they don't try to act normal. Kinda like me, Bwahaha! Oh, sorry.
But onto another subject, I enrolled in two Photoshop classes so I can better my CGing skills for my artwork.
Well, thaz all I have for now. I'm going to go draw something
